Mohy Eladawy joins Global Food Industries (GFI) and International Beverage and Filling Industries (IBFI) as Chief Commercial Officer. In his new role, Mohy aims to further strengthen the market share of GFI and IBFI’s products in the UAE and expand its presence in KSA across multiple categories. Furthermore, Mohy aims to further develop its penetration into other Gulf countries, its commercial team capabilities and improve profitability. All of these, he believes, will be key for GFI and IBFI to achieve its ambitious growth targets.

 

Mohy comes into GFI and IBFI’s management leadership team as a commercial leader with 25 years of experience in branded consumer business. These include previous roles as Account Manager for Coca-Cola in New York in the US; Key Account Manager for PepsiCo in Cairo, Egypt; Key Account Manager for TetraPak in Dubai; Market Manager for Fonterra in Dubai; and General Manager of Kimberly Clark across North Africa, Levant and GCC. Prior to joining GFI and IBFI, Mohy was based in Cairo, Egypt as the Commercial Director of Farm Frites.

 

Throughout his professional career with blue chip FMCG companies, Mohy has developed a successful and proven track record pf consistently achieving outstanding results. Mohy believes that his biggest strengths include creation of sustainable new platforms of revenue, new channels penetration and new geographies penetration, which have led to increased market shares and business growth. His expertise also includes leadership and organization development, brand development and optimizing productivity and efficiency of organizations through people engagement, coaching and reward and recognition. And, with his vast professional experience, Mohy is also a regular participant as guest and panel speaker at regional and international business forums.

 

Mohy holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from St. Peter’s in New Jersey, USA majoring in Management and International Business.
